- Interesting & interactive learning is an important factor in making the education side of Golf, fun !!

- Our focus in the school sessions is Long Term Athletic Development (LTAD). 

- It helps to develop the young player’s physical ability, aiding them to become better golfing athletes.

- With our pre-primary students we focus on fundamental movement skills as well as fundamental sport and golf skills. 

FTG Junior Golf is run by Rachel Howard ( a qualified PGA Class AAA ) and by Johan Wolfaardt (a qualified PGA Class AAA professional ) together they offer a junior golf development programme that specializes in teaching pre-primary and primary school students on school premises. 

Our programme teaches grip, ball position, and stance and swing motion to the beginner. This is an introduction programme where we use tried and tested learning techniques in the form of fun activities.

Gain experience on our Driving Range

- The Driving Range is fully equipped to meet all of the practice needs from our junior golfers ( as well as senior golfers )

?- All equipment is provided in our sessions as well as a colour filled arena for pre-primary students

- A driving range environment will be set up for pre-primary students equipped with hitting bays, buckets, balls and yardages

- The Driving range is also under cover, has seating available for parents / guardians, snacks and beverages are sold here as well

Learn advanced Techniques 

- Once our students are confident in their understanding and skill in golf, we encourage them to progress to our clinic which is held at the Lake Club Benoni.

- Here the training is more intense and they learn a more advance technique.

- As with our school coaching, our clinics at the range are run by PGA qualified coaches. 

Take part in our Junior Club Champions 

- Juniors have the opportunity to play each Saturday afternoon at The Lake Club and qualify to win monthly prizes.

- All of our young golfers take part in our levels programme which is run from The Lake Club Benoni. This gives the student an indication of what they have to complete to move up to the next level. 

- Holiday programmes and fun days are also hosted by The Lake Club Benoni throughout the year.
